September 5th, 2008 edition of The Daily Sauce: Food and Wine. Visit Our Food and Wine Archive. Saucy for Strays If you love dogs and love cocktails, well, what are you doing tonight after work? Every Friday this month, stop by the lovely Lafayette Square fountain for Stray Cocktails, a fundraiser hosted by the Lafayette Square Business Association to benefit Stray Rescue of St. Louis. Food and beverages will be available for purchase from Baileys’ Chocolate Bar, SqWires, Soda Fountain Square, Square One Brewery, Park Avenue Coffee, Ricardo’s Italian Café, Eleven Eleven Mississippi and Vino Vitae. Several shops will stay open late and donate a portion of sales to the nonprofit animal agency, too. And to top it off (at least from our perspective), the event is just down the street from the Sauce office. See you there!
