Monday Monday, So Good to Me

Ugh, Mondays; The Mamas and The Papas had it right. This being Tuesday, we’re just glad Monday is over because it’s the worst day of the week for almost everything, including dining out. At least lunch and dinner are now better, with two of our favorite new eateries now serving on Monday. Revival, the Southern-influenced brainchild of chefs Cary McDowell and Carolyn Downs, started its Monday service last month. That means we can indulge in the eclectic menu at lunch or dinner on the first day of the work week. And Pi, the East Loop pizzeria already open seven days a week, is now open for lunch. That’s good news for those addicted to Pi’s cornmeal-crust pies, and for anyone looking for a midday meal on the worst day of the week.
