Tom, Time for Dinner

Tom McKinley knows food. As head chef at the Sidney Street Café, the ever-popular restaurant he owned for nearly two decades before selling it in 2004, he also knew what people wanted for dinner. After a few years of traveling and developing real estate, McKinley now finds himself back in the food industry. Spurred by researching meal prep companies as an investment for a family member – and after assembling and preparing many meals – McKinley settled on the locally owned Time for Dinner. In fact he liked the woman-owned company so much he’s now Time for Dinner’s food “guru,” serving as its food consultant, helping develop menus and recipes as well as with store operations. McKinley’s culinary creativity influences all the Time for Dinner menus. Whether he is freshening up an old favorite or introducing an entirely new dish, McKinley brings a casual but elegant touch to the Time for Dinner fare.
