Fortunately, a new line of ice-friendly servingware from Prodyne is pretty – and very practical. Our favorite piece is the Iced Salad bowl, a five-piece serving set that keeps side salads looking – and tasting – good on the buffet line. The set features a 4.5-quart stainless steel bowl nestled into a clear acrylic base. Simply fill the base with ice, insert the salad bowl and top it off with a clear, dome-shaped lid that “keeps the cold in and the bugs out.” The set also comes with serving utensils. The line includes other piece, but since it’s brand-spanking new, they’re not yet available in retail stores in the Midwest.
