How to be a Barista, Baby

So you think you know coffee? Or want to know more about coffee? Or just want do something free? You’re in luck, because this Saturday at high noon, you can attend a free coffee seminar at the Starbucks in Soulard. Show up and you’ll learn the language of coffee beyond “give me a cup o’ joe, mack.” You’ll also learn all about brewing java at home (remember doing that?), and how to pair coffee with chocolate and other foods. We bet there’ll even be free samples. But even though you’re in luck with this free event, Starbucks isn’t so lucky, because this is one of the 16 St. Louis locations being shuttered. Guess you won’t learn much about the business end of coffee making.
